Sick Day Wisdom
Oct. 7th, 2005 03:17 pmThings I have learned after leaving work sick today:
If you call the office more than 4 times in two hours, they will tell you to stop.
If you look miserable and feel terrible they will beg you not to come back and potentially spread the wealth.
Naps are good. Naps are wonderful. Naps should be required daily.
The original Battlestar Galactica airs on Sci-Fi during the day. This is the first time I have seen the show in twenty years. Interestingly enough? Apollo and Starbuck have much more chemistry in the first gp-round. Which is shocking since I think the new Starbuck has chemistry with air.
I want someone to show me where all the Boonie/Dodger China Beach slash lives. Cause I know it has to be out there, Dodger is devoted to Boonie and they have that whole Sole Survivor of a platoon thing happening. This could break my current monogamous fic run.
After about 3 hours spent at my house during the day, I start to get really bored with looking at the television and/or ceiling and it is a good thing I have plenty of reading material.
