Thanks for saying thisa lot of people who've been commenting about the looters and those who stayed in general just clearly don't understand what these people were up against logisticallyie, they had no logistics for going anywhere.
And heads should roll on a state & Federal level, which of course they will not, because as you say, this was anticipatible, but nothing was done in advance to ameliorate the situation.
And I've gotta wonder if part of the reason for that is that the sufferers are mostly black and/or grindingly poor.
