Lord King Bad Vid --- Logistics and Thoughts

To all the people commenting encouragement and niceties and just generally being there for me yesterday when I posted about the wreck -- thank you.

To all of the people who went freaking nutz over Lord King Bad Vid? Y'all are terrifying and I love you and I have found my people.

Also? Due to such interest (and OMG, you would think that half of you have just been *waiting* for an excuse to be base, and obvious and tasteless. The other half were going "Oh, yeah - I've already got some vids for you" I love you guys) getting together for a few vids after Club Vivid just won't cut it. Cause, yeah - until yesterday we had, maybe, 5 vids?

So yeah - um - probably gonna be a few more than that. Lord King Bad Vid, in accordance with the preferred night for room parties, will now be on Saturday night following the Premiere show. If you end up in a Big Ole Corner Room, surrounded on either sides by fellow insane people, and wish to host Lord King Bad Vid -- find me at the con Thursday night/Friday morning and I will sing to you. Seriously. Pick the song. I will serenade you complete with Big Arm Movements and horribly off-key attempts at something and Over-Emotional Phrasing. Or I will not sing, ever. Whatever floats your boat.

I've thought about the night change and I am down with it. Yes, I am down with it like funky cold medina, let me tell you my friend. Because The Premiere's show is Serious Business and very draining and not typically heavy on funny vids or even Bad Vids, so I think it is appropriate to follow premieres with this. Kind of like a Bruce Campbell film festival only with vids. Makes sense.

We also need Lord King Bad Vid slogans. And again -- LKBV is not about making a boring, bad vid. We are talking Lord King of the Bad Vids and that is something very special, indeed. Words like Disco Adama are uttered. Power chords and Hobbits thrive together in a land of Deep Emotional Connection. Vidder Meets Earnestness in a fiery mesh of passion and need. It is really very moving. Soul Altering even.

So make plans to be there - whereever there is (again final info will be posted Friday in the con suite) and we will all have a good time then. You know we'll have a good time then.

(No one is allowed to vid Angel/Connor to "Cat's In the Cradle" just cause... if you pick the right time of the month, I'll cry. Embarrassing tears. OOOOHHH the person who's Lord King Bad Vid makes me cry will be in soooo much trouble).

In other news - I have my worst case scenario assignment and I realized: Oh shit. I don't write fic. . More developments as they arise.

Apparently we are conflicting with Boni's manga pimping party as well. I really can't do much about that as the room parties are supposed to be on Saturday night -- the cool thing about LKBV is that you can leave and enter. I anticipate a rather informal gathering of rowdy fen.

I suggest as many fen as possible who want to do LKBV go to the desk on Thursday when they arrive and ask to be put on the Lord King Bad Vid hallway. I will get there early Thursday and explain what this is, and then make damned sure my room is there. This way we can pack the end of that hall with Lord King Bad Vidders.

Also I will bring earplugs for those who wish to sleep.
