You're not a bad beta!

You beta from your heart, and for those of us who try to work The Big Emotion, that's *incredibly* valuable.

I believe in using different styles of betas for each project. I often need a [livejournal.com profile] renenet or [livejournal.com profile] elynross to make sure that the structure and narrative of the vid make sense, and I can always benefit from a [livejournal.com profile] killabeez or [livejournal.com profile] morgandawn to tell me if my timing's off, and I love having a [livejournal.com profile] permetaform or a [livejournal.com profile] lierdumoa for effects tips and shiny-squee and beatwhoring. But if I want to know if I've just punched someone in the gut? If I want someone to get not just the top two levels but the insidious third layer of contextual meaning? If I want to make sure that the vid is ineffably *oomphy*? It's you or [livejournal.com profile] sockkpuppett that I need. And I do need you.
