In other news - I went to Woodford County at lunch and toured a prospective kennel and think it will be a much better match for Sid. His run is more room-like with a raised bed and is totally inside (he is a totally inside dog). I can specify that he is walked on grass and I can pay for extra playtimes. Also? Place was cleaner than my house. Crap, I am used to horse barns being nicer than my home, but a dog kennel? Now I gotta go clean my house.

We'll try it out next weekend. I'm nervous, but I feel more comfortable with this place and hit it off with the manager who was eager to show me the entire facility and seemed to know every single dog by name. This is a very good sign.

Get this - from their brochure:

"Is your dog a couch potato? Our luxury suite allows your dog to lie on the couch, eat their favorite treats and watch movies all day long!!"

They only have one (I think it is where the staff hangs out in off hours) and it is already gone for next weekend, but if this place works out I am so reserving that room for Vividcon.

I do need to make certain that they have the Cartoon Network.
