So I had questions about this topic and the VVC site says that it is vids from historical/epic shows and movies. So - I guess Deadwood counts, then?
I think Deadwood would totally count.
As I understand it, the "epic" part of this category is to broaden it to include stuff that isn't "history" but feels like it might be (like LotR) or might have a combined historical/mythological basis -- like Robin of Sherwood or King Arthur material. This is in addition to the real historical stuff like Hornblower, for example.
