Early Days Make Me Cranky.
Oct. 7th, 2009 01:04 pmGrrr.
I was on Facebook, like ya do, and I was obsessing over my visual bookshelf (which the time I am losing on that app, just...yeah) and I entered "Reviving Ophelia" as a book I have read. I might have issues with the text itself, but it is without question a book that focuses on adolescent girls. The next 7 recommendations based off that book were all about raising healthy boys. The first recommendation, I was all "I've read that!" and I hit skip. Then the next one, and the next one and just...
Seriously? I am very tired. I am also really tired of "daughter" being a runner-up to "son." Now, I have to go eat some soup and go back to work.
