Happy Vividcon Eve!!

Yes, I know that technically, tomorrow is actually the day before VVC and therefore Vividcon Eve, but I arrive in Chicago tomorrow and so that makes tonight VVC-Eve for me!!

And I am sooo excited I can't sit still. I am gonna forget everything I was supposed to bring, I know it. Also? I can't seem to find my plane ticket printout. I should go search my email! OMG PLANE!!! I AM SCARED OF HEIGHTS AND PLANES GO REEEEEAAALLY HIGH!!

*hyperventillates and then gets distracted*

Okay, so I have to finish tidying the house as my dear, sweet, kind and giving sister caphricacorn is staying here while I am away so we don't have to subject a rapidly aging Sid-the-Dog-Face-Boy to the stress of the kennel. Also, I think she knows that if she is taking me to and picking me up from the airport her chances of nabbing any extra DVDage I get goes up exponetially over our nephew's (the past recipient of my second DVD sets, bless his heart. He walks around the house with his little portable DVD player watching the con set. It is adorable).

Oh my god!! I get to see all of you SOON!! TOMORROW!! ACK!!!! I have blonde hair now! KINDA SORTA!!! I am partially blonde but you will all recognize me anyway cause I'll be bouncing about until I fall down on a couch and quit moving - JUST LIKE LAST YEAR! and the year before that! And the year before that!

Also, my Eminem is far from perfect but it is soooo much better than my Kanye West. Why oh why did I agree to karaoke TWO songs? The only thing that makes this feel better is the fact that A. No matter what this is funny and 3. renenet has to be Mos Def.

So - tomorrow at noon I arrive in Chicago - as long as I don't die on the way. Several people have been left with instructions on what to do if I do die (in lieu of my posting my last will and testament again) so if that happens it still isn't the worst case scenario - at least there will be funny moments. The Worst Case Scenario (at least for me) would be if I didn't plan out the funny. Cause who wants to go to a depressing con? Seriously. I didn't plan for anyone to sing the Pete song if I died and this is because the Pete-Song needs serious revamping. I think it is like, 3 or 4 years old now - so I'm working on jazzing it up. Now, if for some reason, my plane does crash and I perish in a fiery fiery death (or maybe I just get smushed OH! Or maybe I get sucked out the back and die of decompression injuries - like in that movie, that one time) please just stick to the original song - only slow it way down to almost dirgelike status. That would really be cool.

So, right. I think I have everything ready or almost ready. Packed? check. Kitchen cleanish? check. Booze, not packed? check. Club Vivid gear? Check. Socks? check. Directions In Case of Death? Check (cause there is no way I am not attending this con and it BETTER be a good time). Vid DVD collection? Check.

Okay - final Fiery Death Question:

If you were gonna die in a plane crash - which would be better?

1. Wearing glasses and potentially losing your one chance of possible escape because they break on impact and you are blind without them?
2. Wearing contacts and running the risk that they get melted during extreme heat of escape?

Man, I really really really hate to fly.

*me spends a good 10 minutes visualizing fiery death*

Remember that one time Gillian Anderson hosted that thing on Fox about How to Survive a Plane crash? I totally watched that. I will never ever never wear pantyhose on an airplane because of that. I always wear tennis shoes while flying because of that.

Okay - now it is off to work and staff meetings where I get to yell at people for not doing their fucking jobs! YAY! OMG I NEED A NEW JOB!!!
