Quick Update...

So I take caphricacorn to the comic book store and I ended up buying a ton of Teen Titans cause she is in love with Conner Kent.

Then I come home to find out The Boy is jealous and *he* likes Teen Titans as well because Starfire is "interesting", but he wants me to buy him "Teen Titans, Go" cause he is all into manga.

I am just figuring out what manga is - but I gotta say - I don't really care for it at all in a comic book. Hell - I like comics to look like comics *grumpy old man*. I feel all advanced cause I accept and love the art work of Alex Ross, when a part of me feels his stuff is almost too realistic. But I am good with that. The manga look just irritates me, possibly because The Boy's anime irritates me. Everyone looks like The Batmite in it, all angles and eyes and and pointy hair and it is just disconcerting as all get out.

So, now - the solution is that the books stay at my place and whoever wants to read them can come over and do so. Except Cappy went home last night and kinda snagged a coupla books before she went.

Whatever, I am vidding. And I am resenting my job for taking time out of my vidding. Dammit. You get into a nice, creative flow and then stuff happens. Like having to go to work. I have important clips to lay! I have to figure out this filter! Angel might take his shirt off again! GAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWDDSDD!!!

(no subject)

This is not because I just read rageprufrock Bruno/Boots slash. Because I didn't. Because I am not allowed to read any fic until I finish this vid and I wouldn't break that vow, even if the vid was rendering and there was nothing I could do at that time. I might have had the page with the fic up on my screen and my eyes might have seen it and my brain quite possibly processed the words automatically into sentences and phrases that formed a coherent story - but that is not the same thing as reading at all.

Is it bad that I really want some Trixie Belden slash? Cause Brian and Jim are like OTP and don't even get me started on Honey/Trixie - that shit is canon.

Sigh - I wonder if anyone else on my FList ever read "The Girls of Canby Hall" series.

Yeah, I'm going to bed now.
