Illyria Thought....
May. 26th, 2004 11:17 amThis has probably been thought about and mulled over a gazillion times - and I apologize if so, but between work and getting ready to go to Slayage (!!!!) I have had no time to keep up with anything.
But lots of time to think about Illyria. I think I love her. I really do. She fascinates me.
And so I was thinking about her and I was thinking about Spike and a current story that is playing out in my head and I really like this story and I haven't even *seen* Angel yet (an-ti-ci-pation) and still I am entertained and Buffy is meeting Illyria... and I thought about what Buffy said to Ford about being vampirized in "Lie to Me."
About how the demon sets up shop and has your memories and walks like you and talks like you - but is not you.
And we know that is not strictly true - but makes sense that a Slayer would need to think this (possibly in the history of slayers - people close to her - the few at least - have been targets of vampires. Want to fuck with a slayer? Turn her watcher). She needs this to do her job.
So, it might not be completely accurate about vampires. Pretty much sums up Illyria though.
Back to daydream. Carry on.
