Houston, we have achieved repeat. "Once In Your Life" - The Jealous Sounds. Just...awww. Plus, kinda poppy and I think I am craving something along those lines lately - reminds me of Plow Monday's "Blank" in that sense - as in this song could achieve a lot of radio play if only marketed properly. Well, that and the sense of power ballad behind it. I wish the term Power Ballad didn't have such a bad rep cause I think it can be a very apt description and doesn't necesarily have to mean the stuff Poison played when they were tired and wanted to sit down. Or what Motley Crue played for da ladies. Or anything by Journey - ever. We need to update and reclaim the power ballad mantle. Actually, upon further reflection - um, no. Ballad - just not a good descriptor for this kind of music any more no matter how you slice it. It sounds pretty and should now only be used to describe songs sung by high voiced women as they mourn something or other. Those high voiced women are a very mournful lot. I'm grateful to be raspy, that is for certain. Power is also a crap word now - I am very sore from working out yesterday and since half of the classes at Dawn's gym are Power this and Pump that, just no.

I need more words to describe music with. Gimmee terms. Gimmee definitions. Gimmee, gimmee, gimmee.

Yesterday at the Used CD Store (Spy Records at the corner of Tates Creek and Man-O-War, for anyone in the Lexington Ky Area - I am physically unable to go to Subway for a sandwich without going there first) I found a CD in the used bin by Jump Little Children and since I liked "Too High" on this last mix I bought it.

There is much more musically, but I wanted to let heres_luck know the first repeat song, since I think she now makes odds on what that will be. Plus, she is like a musical Tivo. I had more to say and then it left me.

Today is your day of Holy Obligation [tm Lum] so make it count. Watch SV and Angel tonight or you will make the puppet Angel cry. Okay - he really doesn't care if you watch Smallville, but since it is on the same channel and comes on right before Angel, it can't hurt to tune in. Plus - I like Adam and something interesting may happen so ya'll should watch so I have more people to talk to if somthing cool does happen. If the show sucks, we'll just ignore it and move right onto Angel and really - no harm no foul, so watch.
