I love how the decline of the Reverend unfolds, how he's annoying as hell, but you don't see a lot of pity being tossed his way, just compassion and people dealing with the realities of the situation. I love how Al is an asshole to him, but in the end is his salvation. I love how at first, when Seth, Sol and the Reverend are walking back from Bill's funeral, the way Sol is completely compassionate and understanding, but we see Seth losing his patience. The way people react to the Reverend tells us so much about who they are as people, deep down.
