I’m walking Dawn through downloading the wild-feed from the Newsgroup. She is at home, I’m still at work. Normally she would wait for me to get home, but I’m going out with friends. I know she is worried that if she doesn’t get the episode now she will break and go read the wildfeed, but I barely know what I’m doing and now I am doing it via remote and walking her through the procedure based on what I remember and I swear there was a moment in which I thought we had broken the Newsgroup. Damn.

Is it really that good? No, don’t tell me. Stupid me. Of all times to go and have a social life…

My current addiction is downloading fansubs of the new Gundam SEED TV series and the Ghost in the Shell OAV. I suppose that means I've hit the next stage of fandom if I'm actively seeking fansubs out.

I love my internet newsgroups.

I'm glad we didn't break the Newsgroups then this afternoon. I have no idea what she was doing actually - I would ask over the phone if the boxes were blue or green and she would say, "Some are light blue and dark blue and there is an orange one and a yellow one..." and I freaked a bit cause that's never happened to me. I've figured out since what she did, but I still don't get the varying shades she saw.

Also - Newsgroups are the coolest. I have to keep re-registering at EasyNews cause I hit my download limit. I debate paying more or just waiting out the month. Hell, it keeps me of the streets... where, theoretically I would just spend the money anyway...

I have an account at Newsfeeds.com. The plan I'm on is $20 a month, but there are only daily download limits(about 600 megs) for each server... of which there are like 10 to get binaries from. So it works out pretty well when I need to download a ton of stuff in one day. I should probably find a cheaper plan since I'm not utilizing it as much as I used to these days. Maybe I just need to download more pr0n.

What newsreader are you using?
