I watched Angel last night. I liked what I saw: Angel's hallucinations - now that's entertainment, Lilah is seriously evil - always a good thing (but will someone please brush her hair and put some eyeliner on her? Lilah should always be meticulously groomed), Wes and Justine dipping into some serious bondage/dominance territory - it was fun all around.

Lilah's palm pilot and Wes cutting his arm to feed Angel have a special place in my heart. I was concerned that Wes should be a little more cautious when feeding Angel, he does have a tendency to latch on and all... Did anyone get the feeling that maybe Cordelia does not have form, but she is still her - y'know? And she is safe and warm and loved and finally finished...and totally bored. Hee. This does not make up for what has been done to her character, but I did appreciate it. I hate Fred. Last year it was minor annoyance combined with slight disdain, but now I actively hate her. That is all. I just hate her.

You know what else I hate? Weathermen who break into programming without warning to tell me it is raining. Really? It's raining? Thanks for the information. Seriously, I couldn't figure that out by myself. Oh, and there is thunder as well? Well then, by all means, please interrupt Wes and Lilah's post-coitus to tell me. Because I can't read the big honking ticker at the bottom of the screen. Oh, and I did not notice the weather map taking up 1/4 of the left corner. I'm glad you interrupted the show a total of four times. Because it is not as if I was looking forward to watching it. I mean, it was raining! That is important news! Oh, and I really liked it when you broke in to tell me the storm was over. Thanks. I don't know how I would have made it through without you. You complete me.

Sisabet, this is Miss Murchison, and I doubt you will ever read this because this Live Journal thing is giving me fits and won't accept my posts for reasons I fail to understand. (I'm not TRYING to register, you stupid program! I'm trying to be anonymous, but I'm saying who I am anyway. Why can't you understand that?)

Anyway, Sisabet, I thought about you while I was watching this episode. Well, except when I was completely overwhelmed by Wesley having sex with Lila while he had Justine (whose name brings De Sade to mind more and more with each episode) locked in the closet. Good old boring Wesley has come a long way. And I really didn't buy that Angel had to have human blood--Wesley was clearly getting off on that whole thing. He managed to show more interesting traits in this one episode than in the character's entire previous television existence.

And Lilah. What can I say. A good beheading shows great promise for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately most of the other bits of the episode were just plain awful instead of funny-awful. I will reserve judgment on this season until we see how Cordelia comes back. And I'm still pinning my romantic hopes on Angel and Lorne getting together.

Eeee! I just finished watching thanks to SlayerWeb ("Wesley has Sex with Lilah and drives to it into the sea outside...").

Can I say how in love I am with both Wesley and Lilah? I want to be Lilah, all evil and Wesley-lurvin'. Who knew Wes was such a badass, anyway? And yay! for decapitation.

Anyway, it was your blog made me want to download it. So thanks.

Whoa - and I blogged before I saw that scene!!! I too have now seen the complete episode thanks to SlayerWeb (gotta love the fishing rod). All I have to say is not only is Lilah seriously evil she is also seriously in looovvve. And who can blame her? I so was not expecting Wes to grow a personality... Okay, the big question is where did Wes learn all the rules to play the dominance/master game with Justine? I think you know where I am going here (basically where I always go). It was not just a fluke that Angel asked Faith about forgetting the safety word in "Consequences". If I wasn't such a Spuffy slut right now I would give serious thought to "Master and Servant" by Depeche Mode. Maybe Spike will piss me off tomorrow. Here's hoping!

Aww, Miss Murchison, thanks for coming by and posting. Please ignore the Live Journal issues and post however you want. Having you around makes me seem 10 times smarter. I would say long live Angel/Lorne love, but that would probably jinx it.

Justine!! Yes!! The connection with de Sade has been rattling around in my brain for months--back there with the other stuff not fit for human consumption. LOL Now, my dirty little mind is all fraught with imagery about just *how* Wes managed to maneuver Justine into that much of a slave mentality. I'll bet the CoW offered courses in it. heh heh Having a dirty mind is so entertaining.

Has Lilah had a nosejob? Or something? Or does she just look sexually satiated, and my God Wesley.

And I haven't even had a cup of coffee yet. heh.

This is Miss Murchison again. You are charming and brilliant, Sisabet. You shouldn't need someone who can't figure out how to post a comment to make you feel smart.

And I realized after I posted the first time that I'd referred to parts of the post-coital scene that you maybe hadn't seen because of the weather geeks. Maxima mea culpa. If I spoiled it for you, I deserve to be punished. Which fits in nicely with the theme of this thread.

Miss Murchison, don't think for a second you spoiled me. That honor belongs to my sister who promptly hopped online when Weather!Geek ruined things. Again, it was an awesome scene.

Oh, Justine was ripe for the pickin' after last season. Wes may have gotten the water flowing but Holtz primed the pump. Which episode was it where he stabbed her hand through and left her pinioned to the table? But of course, I was never attracted to Holtz. Come to think of it, I was never attracted to Wesley until Monday night.

Well, I thought he was Nerd Supremo in Buffy, but I liked his... ummm... nerdosity. As soon as I saw him in leather on Angel, it was all over for me. heh
