Well, I should say that I am highly enthusiastic about *some* of Clapton's work - just not anything he has done recently.
I've never tried a download service -- I spend probably $40 a month on CDs though - mostly used and most all purchases made at this one store I like. It's weird but I am not used to any of this being *hard* to find. I'm used to tripping over it everytime I stepped outside.
