Cliniging to the Internet at Work...

So I have no AIM. Actually, this is true on many levels since my lack of spatial skills dictates that nothing I ever throw will land or hit where I intend it to go. Well - I say it is my spatial skills as a set, the Boy maintains that it is mainly due to my lack of depth perception and Dawn says that it is because I just do not try hard enough. This all came up this weekend as we were painting and discussing why I never followed through on being an astronaut, even though there was a two-week period as a child where that was my goal. I was commiserating with a CD of Eddie Izzard and his scaled back dreams.
Dawn: You give up on everything.
Me: There is no way I could ever be an astronaut.
Dawn: You listen to people when they tell you that you can't do something. I never ask.
Me: Dawn! I. Can. Not. See. There is no way I could be an astronaut. You have to have 20/20 vision or something - I saw it on "I Dream of Genie."
Dawn: You don't know that for sure because you never tried.
Me: Well then, would you be comfortable with me in a space shuttle?
Dawn: Liz, I won't even ride with you in town, after dark.
So I have no aim. But also no AIM and I miss it. I am an AIM addict. I miss ya'll.
