I try to think of the uninspired periods as "fallow" periods -- the varying amount of time my brain seems to need to lie undisturbed while it regathers its energies and nutrients after the crop has been picked. So to speak. It's frustrating, but I try to turn the period itself to good use, feeding my head good, inspiring things -- episodes, stories, movies, books and things not specifically related to fannish things. Kind of a recharging. And you did a double dose of harvesting! I think this vid was something you'll look back on and realize it was a major vidding evolutionary point for you, so it makes even more sense to me that your head and your inspiration will take a little bit of time to refill.
