I think it's inevitable that whenever you coin a fannish term, as its usage spreads through fandom, people are going to adopt it and apply their own definitions. Heck, during VVC, I heard a lot of things referred to as LKBV that left me going, "Buh?" From some, I got the impression it was being used in an eye-rolling, mocking way about stuff they considered cheesy and *bad*.
