Running gets the big two thumbs up + nodding from me. Exercise has been my mortal enemy for my entire life until a month or so ago but running has been hugely liberating for me.
Gyms and other public exercise places cause nothing but comparisons and I for one inevitably feel like some hideous fitness underclass, constantly looked down upon by everyone. With running, you are in competition with you alone. It doesn't matter how far you can run this week, as long as you keep doing it you will be able to run for longer next week and suddenly exercise is your bitch and not the other way around. Plus despite the shameful amounts you'll run when you start there is a really fast improvement curve at the start which is really encouraging, imo.

Plus adrenaline is actually pretty good stuff.
