I really dislike giving feedback on a vid after only one viewing anyway.
You are wise. :-)
The first time I saw Cold, Cold Water, I thought it was beautiful, but it didn't hit me over the head with its amazingness. I hadn't seen a lot of the series, and I was too busy trying to figure out what was going on to really let it wash over me and affect me properly. But on about the 3rd viewing, I relaxed and really let myself experience it, and, wow.
The other thing is that I'm really starting to grasp how often the viewing venue has everything to do with how I respond. Lithium Doll's Karaoke Soul didn't make a huge impression me online, nor did shalott's Zebra, beyond, hey, cool vids. But watching them on a big screen, I found them both immensely effective and memorable. On the flip side, I think that the vid hafital and I did to Say is actually better online, or in a quiet, intimate setting, than in a vid show. So now, I find that I want to try watching the vid in different spaces to see how it changes things.
