Ten Things About Me, Today
Things I have learned recently:
1. While LJ and posting might become slightly compulsive behaviors for me - everything I do has the potential for becoming Slightly Compulsive. The fact that I can limit most stuff to just slightly in the grand scheme of limiting things, is a testament to my force of will.
2. When I don't post - things have a tendency to build up where they will either:
a. Explode in me hijacking a chat room to give blow-by-blow accounts of my increasingly "Office Space" days. We are talking entire minute breakdowns.
b. Result in me avoiding all forms of relaxation besides the television and sleeping every spare chance I get.
c. End up with me getting an ulcer and spending a week in Really Bad Fucking Pain.
d. All of the Above only now with the added You Stressed Your Dog Out and Made Him Sick, Too BITCH, bonus.
3. If I am sick, I can't get a new job. If I am sick - I worry I am going to lose my job more and it makes me sicker. If I get sicker then I get stressed out even more and eventually Sid will have diarrhea.
4. Thirty year old women should have doctors and should go to those doctors and say "Hey - somethings up here" rather than relying on the internet and relatives who practice medicine for diagnosis and treatment.
5. There is only so much that over the counter Prilosec can do.
6. Not-vidding because you are stressed out is like, the worst thing you can possibly ever do.
7. Stressing out because you have 6 vids started on various hard drives and at various stages of completeness to the point that you don't finish anything and don't start anything is really really dumb.
8. Vidding does not cause stress. Fandom should not be stressful. If you make it so, then you are doing it wrong. Also - that means you have to take yoga. Do you want to take yoga?
9. Ever since I saw "Grace Under Pressure" I have been like this in my head: "Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, Rodney, etc."
10. I cut my seven and half minute Rodney song down to 4 and half minutes and do you think
renenet was pleased? No! She just made some comments about how I had to go to bed and all. I cut 3 minutes out of a song! I am like a song editing genius over here. And anyone who doesn't want a four and a half minute vid about the overwhelming frustration of being Rodney McKay doesn't have to watch it.
