Query: Are there any songvids to Emmylou Harris's "Deeper Well"? Cause I need to know before I get too attached to an idea.

Freely Offered Opinion: I realize I will be in the minority here - and this is not based on any quality issue at all - but I was happier after the Farscape Season 4 finale than I am now post "Peacekeeper Wars" - without spoilers, this is an entirely emotional, irrational reaction, that is all my own. Also - not like me at all to feel this way. My unease is making me uneasy for I am a typically happy fan.

Wish for Tomorrow: If I can have one thing and one thing only happen on Smallville tomorrow night - it would be for Lex to remember that while you should keep your enemies close, you should keep the quarterback closer.

I've been thinking about vidding The Quick and the Dead to "Deeper Well," but a) it's not anything I'd be doing soon, so if you beat me to it more power to you, and b) I think it might be a waste of the song anyway. I like Quick and the Dead, but I'm not sure the heroine is complex enough for that song.

In any case, I don't think there are any vids out there currently.

That is the word I think that I mean. Wait - it is the word I know that I mean. Spelling is not my friend.

Well - I'm just listening to the song now and wanting to *see* it and lyrically it can be so many people - short list was Lex (just future Lex), Aeryn, Duncan (who I don't even vid - but Dawn said it was about him), and Wes -- Buffy was a candidate, but way too young.

Right now the entire lyrical narrative is fitting Wes - complete with transitions - but lots of things do that with Wes. So I'm not really all that committed to it. I can commit to other songs just as easily.

Do you have any plans for Liz Phair's "Johnny Feelgood"?

And omigod do I have some songs for you. I need to finish this chapter I'm working on and then it's all about the mixes. Oh yeah.

Whee - I'm just frustrated cause I actually hit a good vidding place and I have a firm 2 1/2 minutes (and it is Jay! ::swoon::) but then I have the ending and I...well - that hasn't happened yet. And I am unspoiled. I *think* something will happen soonish that will allow me to finish the vid - but I don't know when. And Lum says if I keep picking at the front part it won't ever get better and part of me knows this but I am still needing to work on it and I guess renenet could beta it, but the beginning is so dependent on the end - the end that has not happened and also that I do not know *will* happen - that it is probably a waste of her time.

So now I am listening to music again. Oh! But I am much better organized about it now. I have iTunes. And a planner. The planner is for work but organization there is having an affect across the board. And I had big plans for snagging the Boys iPod (he got an iPod! He is 15!::jealous::) except it looks like you have to have a firewire or USB 2.0 port to upload and since I have NO more free PC slots - I couldn't even use an iPod if I had one. And this has nothing to do with anything. I just can't sleep.

And I really have no Liz Phair plans either. I just dig that song. I want to have something to vid it to.
