You know - you have really helped me solidfy what I need to do - because really, if I am going to continue watching Smallville with a high level of fannish intent, I am gonna have to learn to live with Lana. The other option is to go back to watching it like I did before - barely. I don't have time to waste bitching about a fake person getting on my nerves - there are enough people in RL like that, I shouldn't go and seek it out.

So, I know what I have to do now. I have to learn to like Lana. I think this can be done. I just have to figure out how to wank my interpretation of the character with what is depicted onscreen, since it does not appear she is gonna *not* be a focus anytime soon.

And I guess I could just let it go and not watch...but Clark wears glasses now. And Lex gets tortured.
